Just imagine Classic BMW when it had it's humble start.
It was 1971 in Richardson,Texas. American car enthusiast were buying American made cars and trucks because in those days you could get your moneys worth out of the domestic vehicles our parents and grandparents bought at the time.
Can you imagine the challenge that Lee Maas must have had when he opened the doors back in the days of Classic Muscles cars. I can only think that is was probably a strong belief in the BMW brand to even get customers in the front door.
Our dealership has a rich history going back over 40 years and the first BMW ever sold at the original location on Highway 75 and Beltline Road now sits in the Service Dept display area.
Now fast forward your imagination to 2012 with the vision of building and operating the biggest and one of the best BMW dealerships in the southern region if not in the whole United States.
With a large and knowledgeable staff to meet your every need in the realm of BMW ownership and the loyalty that exist in our staff and the brand that we deliver to our customer base.
Classic BMW has recently recieved it's third consecutive Center of Excellence award from BMW North America because of Sales,Service and the Parts departments all perfomed very well and BMW has reconized this effort three years running.
I recently asked Eric Maas how the scoring system worked to determine who has done a good if not a great job above expectations from market forcast and predictions.
Without going into lengthy details he explained it like this....
BMW has created what is called indexes with certain goals and points that look at every aspect of the BMW dealers business and what is considered to be exceptional performance. This is known as BMWs balanced scoreboard.
The dealership must perform at a high level in all catagories such as Sales, Service and Parts that meet guidelines set up by BMW for the overall satisfaction for the customer, dealership and manufactuer.
This certainly is a nice accomplishment when it comes to showing our new clients that they are starting a partnership with a company that truely understands how to get the job done right year after year.
I would encourage anyone to comeby to have a cup of our specialty coffees and just take a look at everything the dealership has to offer.Just like BMW has stated,"it will be an excellent experience"
My congratulations goes out to Lee and Eric Maas and all of the managment team that helps keep our heads held high and the customers expectation even higher.
